Many of you know Renae Underwood McLeary from when your children were little and she had Gretchen's Haus on Avalon Ave in Muscle Shoals. That store was open 1995-2005. After her son Walker was born she closed her shop and went back to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab at ECM so she could spend more time with him. Years later Renae became a Trunk Keeper for Matilda Jane Clothing and loved selling those ruffles for 10 Seasons. After Matilda Jane closed their company, Renae's long time friends, Doug and Lisa Letson, ask her to join them at the Emporium of the Shoals to open up Gretchen's Haus within their business. After 19 years of her customers asking her to reopen her shop she gladly did.

With the help of Jolie Bates and Anita Jaynes Willis (owner of Dena Diane), Renae has loved having Gretchen's Haus open again. Renae and Anita both have loved seeing their 1st generation customers bringing in their children who are now having children themselves.
